NEW EDITOR-IN-CHIEF
I am pleased to inform you that since May 2025, the Editor-in-chief of the journal FILOZOFIA I NAUKA. Studia filozofiiczne i interdisciplinarne [PHILOSOPHY AND SCIENCE. Philosophical and Interdisciplinary Studies] is Professor Peter (Piotr) Bołtuć. The journal is therefore in excellent hands. Piotr Bołtuć, a Full Tenured Professor at the University of Illinois Springfield, Department of Mathematical Sciences and Philosophy, Department of Computer Science, College of Health, Science, and Technology University (USA) and Professor of Philosophy, University of Illinois, Springfield (USA), as well as a Professor at the Warsaw School of Economics (Poland), is an outstanding and versatile scholar, known and appreciated in the philosophical community around the world. He has an exceptionally rich spectrum of interests and research competences – from German and Anglo-Saxon philosophy, epistemology, broadly understood philosophy of science (not limited to analytical philosophy of science), ontology, philosophy of consciousness, political philosophy and social philosophy, applied ethics, to the philosophy of artificial intelligence and, more broadly, the philosophy of computer science. At the same time, he is an exceptionally effective organizer and author of significant events in world philosophy. He has extensive editorial experience, including – which is evidence of his high prestige in the community – being a member of many editorial boards of philosophical journals.
Good luck and perseverance, Peter!
At the same time, I would like to warmly thank everyone associated with the journal — members of the Editorial Board, the previous editorial team, authors and reviewers — for their participation in defining its identity, de facto its co-creation. For me, their contribution, participation and cooperation with them was invaluable help — without them the the journal would be unthinkable.

According to the Polish rules of publishing law it is the publishers of the journal (and not its editors) who/which elect and remove its advisory council. Following these rules the publishers of the journal FILOZOFIA I NAUKA. Studia filozoficzne i interdyscyplinarne decided to remove all the Russian scholars from the list of the members of the Advisory Council of the journal on 13th January 2023.
In my own behalf I would like to thank the Russian scholars, long-term members of the Advisory Council, for their professional help in publishing the journal.
